Basic Operations and Safety: In day 1 of this class, you will laser cut a box with finger joints out of wood and engrave a design on its surface. You will learn how to work with files in Adobe Illustrator, as well as how to safely operate our Epilog lasers. In day 2 of this class, you will learn how to use the rotary attachment on the Epilog laser to apply your design on powdercoated cups, mugs, etc. All participants will be supplied with a coffee tumbler to engrave.
Please note: If you do not have any digital design experience, please take Adobe Illustrator for Makers before taking this class.
