FUSE Makerspace Workshops
Grow Your Potential with FUSE Makerspace Workshops and Training
FUSE Makerspace is committed to fostering a creative and collaborative environment, and safety is a crucial component of this mission. Whether you’re a seasoned maker or new to makerspaces, our workshops provide valuable insights into best practices and safety protocols.
Operations and Safety Training
To use any equipment, all makers must complete the corresponding ‘Intro to’ workshop for the equipment they wish to use. We refer to these workshops as Operations and Safety Trainings. These workshops do not require membership and are designed for people with no prior experience.
If you are already an experienced maker, you can review and complete our FUSE Test Out Request form to schedule a qualification assessment with a FUSE staff member. We also offer credit for prior learning for individuals who have taken relevant classes at CNM and other select institutions.
Specialty Workshops
In addition to Operations and Safety Training workshops, we offer a handful of specialty workshops designed to teach specific techniques and advanced skills. Led by experienced and passionate instructors, these workshops are tailored to specific interests and skill levels so that you receive the guidance and support you need to succeed.
