Looking for a unique and engaging experience for your group? Whether you’re organizing a class field trip or a team-building activity, FUSE Makerspace in Albuquerque offers hands-on activities that spark creativity and collaboration.

Field Trips

Perfect for school-aged children, our field trips introduce students to the world of making through guided tours and age-appropriate activities. These visits are designed to spark curiosity and creativity in a safe, supportive environment.

Important Information for Field Trips:

    • One adult chaperone is required for every five students.
    • Maximum of 30 students per visit.

Team Building

Ideal for adult groups, corporate teams, clubs, and community organizations, our group visits offer a deeper dive into the tools and technologies of FUSE Makerspace. Choose from a variety of hands-on experiences that promote teamwork and skill-building.

Explore Our Five Visit Tiers

Buttonmaking Session

Perfect for all ages, this introductory visit includes:

  • A guided tour of FUSE Makerspace
  • A hands-on buttonmaking activity for up to 30 participants
  • Cost: Free!

Creative Activity

Choose one of the following activities:

  • Sticker Printing: Submit your design in advance and watch it come to life as a custom sticker.
  • Screenprinting: Use your own design or one of ours to create a custom tote bag.

Details:

  • All ages welcome
  • Up to 30 participants
  • Discounts available for educational and nonprofit groups
  • Cost: $450

Mini Workshop

Dive deeper with your choice of one guided workshop:

  • Laser Cut Drink Caddy (Ages 21+): Design and assemble your own caddy.
  • Laser Cut Puzzle (Ages 12+): Create a custom puzzle using our laser cutter.
  • Giant Jenga (Ages 16+): Build your own oversized Jenga set, then play the game with your group!

Details:

  • Smaller group sizes (6-15 participants depending on activity)
  • Discounts available for educational and nonprofit groups
  • Cost: $500

Private Workshop

Get a deeper, hands-on experience with one of FUSE’s Operation and Safety workshops.

Details:

  • Private session of a regularly offered FUSE workshop
  • Appropriate for ages 12 and up
  • Smaller group sizes (3-5 participants depending on activity)
  • Cost: Varies based on selected workshop

Note: This option includes only FUSE’s standard workshops and curriculum. Any modifications or customizations will be considered custom training and may incur additional fees for curriculum development, materials, and instruction.

Custom Training

Looking for something unique? We’ll work with you to design a custom experience tailored to your group’s goals and interests.
