Knee Mill (Manual Mill)

Knee mill or manual milling machine has an x-y table that rides up and down on a vertically adjustable column. There are two main types of cutting processes, peripheral milling and face milling. Peripheral milling is primarily used when cutting deep slots and gear teeth. Face milling is used to cut flat surfaces into the material. Knee mills is a foundational piece of equipment of machining processes.
