Intro to Wood Lathe

Description

Learn to safely operate the wood lathe by turning a French rolling pin that you’ll take home. At the end of this workshop, you’ll know how to prepare and turn a piece on the wood lathe, using the basic tools and two support points.

Wear close-toed shoes and no loose clothing. Bring your own safety glasses or buy a pair at FUSE for $3. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you have not taken a FUSE class before.
