Learn to safely use an ironworker, sheet metal (finger) brake, and angle ginder by making a folded sheet metal box to take home. The instructor will also discuss operation of the drill press, cold cut saw, abrasive/friction saw, blasting cabinet, pipe bender, and horizontal bandsaw. FUSE members who successfully complete this class will have full access to the metal shop. Participants must wear a long sleeve cotton shirt, jeans, and leather shoes.
Bring your own safety glasses or purchase a pair at FUSE for $3.
