Part 1: Manual Knee Mill
Learn to safely operate the manual knee mill, a go-to machine for creating metal parts with high precision. You’ll cover essential techniques like securing and locating your material, touching off tools, and using the mill to surface and cut a channel in your material.
Part 2: Manual Metal Lathe
Next, dive into the manual metal lathe. You’ll practice material setup, cutter engagement, and adjusting cutting speeds, gaining the confidence to machine clean, accurate parts from raw stock.

Schedule: This workshop meets over 2 sessions—attendance at all sessions is required to complete your project and be signed off on the equipment.
