FUSE Makerspace is excited to offer, in collaboration with INTEL®
Future Skills Drone & 3D Modeling Course
The Intel® Future Skills initiative helps students build confidence and skills, create problem-solving innovations to help their communities, find employment in the technology industry, get more education, or become entrepreneurs.
This is an introductory course that will cover different aspects of the design, creation, and evaluation of technology based solutions. The course also explores 3D modeling and digital fabrication using laser cutters and 3D printers.
The content for each course will integrate unique elements including life lessons, videos/hands-on projects, class challenges, self-reflections, and presentations. Central to the curriculum structure is the fusion of life lessons with the class content. The intention of teaching life lessons is to guide the personal growth and development of each student with different positive attributes beneficial in life and future careers and decisions. The life lessons taught will become incrementally more complex over the duration of the course.
The objective of the Intel® Future Skills & 3D Modeling Course is to educate students about the expansion of the technology driven workforce, and 3D modeling industries and associated applications for different industries. This course will inspire students toward gainful employment, and the life lessons taught will prepare them for success in both personal and professional settings.
