Thank you for considering FUSE Makerspace to be the location of your next field trip. We are excited to share our facility and interests with your students.

Here is some general information regarding field trips at FUSE:

  • We accommodate field trips the second Monday of every month. Our members will be utilizing our equipment during other open times. For your group’s safety, we can only conduct field trips during this limited time.*
  • Morning(9:00am-12:00pm) and afternoon(12:00pm-3:00pm) slots are available.
  • 1 chaperone is required per 5 students.
  • 30 students maximum per visit.
  • We charge for visits that include an activity. Details to be discussed with FUSE staff.
  • A FUSE Makerspace waiver must be signed in order to participate in the activities for anyone under 18.
  • FUSE staff will work with you to create an activity for your visit.
  • Everyone must wear closed toed shoes in the facility at all times and protective goggles when on the shop floor!

*If these times/dates do not work for you, please check our calendar for community events throughout the year.

Please fill out the request form below and a FUSE staff member will be in contact with you to discuss details.

We also like to promote our other STEM partners in the city who work more closely with students. We would encourage you to check our their offerings that might fit in line with your curriculum.
